and to display how I have trouble differentiating between "childhood" and now, I also did this:
Give five memories from your childhood, one for each sense.
1. Sound: The first time I heard the Eurythmics' Sweet Dreams in October of 1983, I realized there was more to music than WPAT.
2. Taste: Foam. I'm not kidding. It's a wonder I'm not 100% brain damaged by now.
3. Smell: other than foam...in 1988, the honeysuckle growing over my neighbor's fence was just about the greatest thing I'd ever smelled. I never noticed it before then, but every year since I wait for June and September for that smell. Even have some growing on this side of the fence now. ^_^
4. Touch: Feeling a lawn chair crush my finger. Not exactly a good feeling, but hey.
5. Sight: Only one, eh? Damn. It's a toss up between being two-years-old and seeing the ceiling over my head crack open to reveal hundreds of yellow eyes look down on me, or seeing M'man for the first time. I think I'll go with seeing M'man, because it's the easier one to comprehend. Hot stuff turned around and waved his paw at me like the suave boo that he is. He is still a very suave cat, you know, even the way his ashes sit in the can...rowr.
(Sight and Sound could get a billion weird-ass responses, man.)
Okay, now I shall go create a comic. By create, I mean pull out of some part of my body that I shouldn't be talking about in public.
